JUNIQUE – VERMOOD: Two new products!

Here we present you JUNIQUE (juniper & wine) and VERMOOD (vermouth bianco)!

Two new, original products: a result of the cooperation of the TENTOURA CASTRO –G.P.HAHALIS distillery, Marios Iliopoulos and Argiris Oikonomakos.

JUNIQUE is a unique combination of white wine and natural juniper extract. An impressive co-existence which gives us a rich, special flavour. The extraction of juniper berries adds an earthy, cool aroma and a slightly bitter flavour.

VERMOOD is white vermouth with natural sweetness, coming from a fine semi-sweet white wine (Muscat or “Moshato”) aromatised with Artemisia, bergamot and a variety of Greek herbs. It contains Greek honey that boosts its special flavour, and is free from added colouring or sugar.

In 1939 our grandfather Panagiotis Hahalis aromatised the vermouth with herbs from Chios island and transferred the distillery and his recipe from Chios to Patras which is famous for its muscat grape varieties. Today, the old recipe is perfected and acquires a modern mood.

Εnjoy them slightly chilled (12-13ºC) as an aperitif, straight, on the rocks or in the most unique cocktails!
