Ouzo Thavma

OUZO THAVMA, a Greek word for “miracle” or “splendid”, is produced by distillation in traditional copper stills. The anise, fennel, natural Chios mastic and the other aromatic seeds combine remarkably to produce an easy-to-drink Ouzo with a light flavour.

OUZO THAVMA contains natural extracts and essential oils of Chios mastic and anise, which laboratory (in vitro) studies that were undertaken by the Democritus University of Thrace, in cooperation with our distillery, demonstrated antioxidant and anticancer activity, in the research Project entitled “Use of organic active essential oils in the production of alcoholic drinks and confectionery products with potential health benefits”.
