Cocktail Castro Ginger Sour

Ingredients: 

7 medium-sized fresh basil leaves

2 cl Madagascar vanilla syrup

2½ cl lemon juice

1 dash of vanilla bitters

1 ginger peel

Optionally:

2½ cl whisked egg white

Muddle in a mixing glass the basil leaves and add Ginger Castro liqueur, Madagascar vanilla syrup, fresh lemon juice and a dash of vanilla bitters. Optionally, whisk the egg white and add it into the mixing glass, together with the rest of the ingredients. Shake well, double-strain and pour into a chilled glass. Garnish with some basil leaves and a ginger peel. If you added the egg white, also add an extra dash of vanilla bitters on the foam that is formed on the top of the cocktail.
